spanish teacher course
Do you need to be fluent in spanish entering a university to get a spanish major?

I mean do you have to be fluent in spanish right when you enter a university to be able to get a spanish major? I want to be a spanish teacher and I am not completely fluent in spanish yet will this be a problem at a university? Has there been many people who don’t know spanish fluently when they get into a university but then become spanish teachers? Are spanish courses in a university terribly difficult?
sorry for all the question but please I need help

There’s no point in taking Spanish classes if you’re fluent, now is there? The point of college is to learn. You don’t have to be fluent in Spanish (or even know much at all, they probably have classes that can get you there), and you might not even be fluent when you graduate.
