Whats the best way to study mandarin in china for 1 – 3 years?
I want to study mandarin in china for a few years. Probbly in shanghai. Whats the best way to do this, where should i go??
Okay, I don’t know where you should go, but for a while I recommend getting a fluent chinese speaker friend to go shopping with cause you will get RIPPED OFF, if you are a tourist 
So I recommend maybe staying with a chinese/english speaking family? It’s hard to find especially since most people in Shanghai live in apartments, so if you can’t at least find a fluent friend. And if you are young enough, you can find an international college/school to take a chinese class in or get a tutor.
Anyway, good luck! Sorry if I’m not much help. I also definitely buying a electronic hand-held dictionary!
