McGill and Concordia University?
I've asked this a couple of times in the past, but I would gather some more information. I am a college Ecuador students wishing to study in Canada next year, more speciffically in Montreal. I shall apply in the next two months for McGill universities and Concord (as they are the only two English-speaking universities there) and I would like sb to give me advice to apply there. If accepted as who you recommend? (I'm studying business). And what are the advantages and disadvantages of studying them. I have very good grade. In high school, my GDP was equivalent to 3.9 / 4. And this year (My first) of the college you have so far 3.8 / 4. I was the third best in a class of 100 a very good private secondary and prestige of my country. Extracurricullars are too important?, The only I can remember now are my foreign language classes (French, Japanese and little Chinese) and leadership club in college.
McGill has a reputation of being a school difficult. The reality is that you will have plenty of work to do, but you can get through it. As for the implementation of B. Com, your grades are good, but you have to compare the requirements for conversion to the standards of Quebec. Depending on how the qualifications are recognized in Ecuador, you may need to take extra classes. Their ratings may allow you to receive a scholarship. Note that when you apply, you are requesting McGill first and second administration. Make sure you have a second option if you are applying, as it can be accepted in a program and not another. That said, if you take some classes in their first year, you can transfer the administration relatively easily. Extracurricular Activities good to have when applying to any school. They help differentiate themselves from other students. You do not have to have tons of them, simply, if asked, make sure you enjoyed them. McGill has a very active student life with many clubs and activities if it wants to remain active in student life, which I recommend. For more specific information about your situation, the e-mail at McGill B. Com office is: bcom.mgmt @ staff.mcgill.ca They put you in touch with someone to be better informed about the requirements for implementation.
