degree in statistics from a Spanish university, big business accept it?

I studied mathematics and Spanish for 2 years at Manchester uni (a victory), but then transfer to a Spanish university (top one in Spain) to study the statistics … I am very interested in working in investment banks, Deloitte said, but consider the competition for internship / graduate programs is enormous – and I worry that a title a Spanish university can not cut the mustard with them … although the content of the measure is relevant, I'm fluent in Spanish (although not really sure how point that would help) and I've read a lot about math / economic applications of probability … but like I said, a degree from a university unknown a topic that is not necessarily highly ranked (the math department into account the statistics as a bit of a Mickey Mouse course), I do not know if it will even considered as a degree …

Here in the U.S., the statistics is not considered a Micky Mouse degree. But I would not necessarily change countries to come and work here. It is not necessary to work in investments. You can work in many other fields as well as insurance (actuarial), and market research. Why not see a career counselor at the university for more ideas? Fluent in Spanish and English dealing with the travel industry?
