  • Salve – Hello
  • Soon – Hello! When answering the phone or 'Sono soon "- I'm ready
  • Ciao! – Hello! or bye, bye! (Depending on when you say it, obviously)
  • Buon giorno! 'Good morning!
  • Buon pomeriggio – Good afternoon!
  • Buona sera – Good night!
  • Buona notte – good night (they usually say this before going to bed)
