Language Schools?
I am (adult) student at a German University 4th Sem English + Mathematics for primary schools and I need to brush up my everyday English/ fluency & accuracy. I am looking for a two or three weeks intensive course, time slot end of Aug – End of Sept. (more or less) anywhere in the UK, nice surrounding with some cultural aspects are no no-go conditions 
To facilitate decision where to go I am interested in your knowledge of very good AND very miserable language schools.

portsmouth in hampshire southern england has ferry port but lots of heritage stuff and v nice seafront also a language school at local uni that does short courses
