please help me with my NY accent!?
my drama teacher wants me to try out for Adelaide in Guys and Dolls (our middle school is doing it) and i know some of the accent, but i still need more help. so if you could give me a website that would be awesome! im BASICALLY looking for something that gives every letter of the alphabet with the sound it makes (using that accent) youtube videos dont really work for me.
example of what im looking for:

b (bay)
c (say)
d (day)
e (ay)
f (ef-fay)
^ like that but in the paranthesis the way to say it in a NY accent.

If it was me i think its best to just have a listen to people speaking with an american accent for experience
then have a go
my basic rule is really exaggerate the vowels
but speak to your drama teacher, ask him to give you a hand with it
i had to do a really hard accent for a big high school play and i couldnt do it until about a week before the opening night when i resorted to seeing the drama teacher, he willl be pleased to help
i would have made a big doosh of myself if i hadnt seen him, as it is it went fairly well
remember, practice makes perfect
