sorbonne french classes
letter for getting a visa….?

Hi, I had applied for education visa 2 months ago, to be able to go to the Sorbonne french classes for 2 semesters. And my sister had registered me there for the 2 semesters and paid the money to the classes. But last week they called me from the french embassy that the visa was denied, and I could write a request for Revision.
Can anyone guide me how to explain in the letter- my desire to attend the classes to learn french in a french-speaking area, so that they convince and give me the visa this time?

thnx in advance

You don’t tell us what country you are from so it is hard to know what are the hot buttons but put yourself in their shoes. They are happy to let you study but they want to make sure you can support yourself and they want to make sure you go home afterwards.

What can you say or do to reassure them on these points?

Well you can provide them with evidence that you have enough money to support yourself without working illegally by showing them bank statements and an existing lease on your sister’s flat with a statement from her landlord saying it is ok for you to stay.

As far as leaving is concerned, show them evidence that you are enrolled in another course or have a job waiting for you in your home country at the end of the course.

In both the above, supporting paperwork will be needed, not just a statement from you.

Good luck!
