Apple iPod Nano comes with built in flash memory and is now in its 6th generation since its launch. The current sixth generation iPod Nano offers pedometer, 39.1mm square 240 x 240 display with multitouch interface and FM radio.

Supported audio formats include AAC, Protected AAC, MP3, Audible, Apple Lossless, AIFF, WAV and MP4. The 5th generation iPod Nano was revealed with reduced prices and offered microphone, FM radio with iTunes tagging and integrated video camera with 16 special effects.

It also includes Live Pause, built in pedometer, Nike+iPod Support and speaker. The fifth generation iPod Nano has nine finishes such as Silver, Black, Purple, Blue, Yellow, Orange, Product Red, Green and Pink.

No other MP3 player on the planet packs more features from video to pedometer into smaller package along with video camera, FM radio, voice recording, Genius Mixes, built in speaker and 2.2 inch screen. Apple broke away from the traditionally flat rectangular iPod design and surprised customers with curved wing shaped iPod Nano. It measures 3.5 inches tall, 1.6 inches wide and 0.25 inch thick, which is nearly identical to its predecessor.

Apple 5th generation ipod Nano features a little bigger 2.2 inch display with shiny polished aluminium finish. Apart from couple of new items for 5th generation iPod Nano’s user interface for fitness features, video camera and FM radio, the user interface remains unchanged.

It offers music, video and podcast playback, photos, calendar, games, alarms, stopwatch, contacts, notes and clocks. It also provides integrated pedometer, Genius Mix support, voice recording, built in speaker, video camera and FM radio. The all new iPod Nano is an excellent choice for athletic types and children with its sturdy construction, bright colors and lightweight design.
