learn italian dvd
How to learn Italian quickly?

I’m going to Italy to visit family in August and I would like to become more used to speaking Italian and be able to hold somewhat of a conversation.
I already have a bit of a background in Italian and can understand parts of it and can read it as well.

But does anyone have any tips for ways that I can pick up Italian, either using a book or CD/DVD? Thank you!

Try Rosetta Stone, or if you could post at your local store or whatever, looking for someone who could help you. A native speaker would be the best. Or if you a version of Little Italy (or a place where native speakers are) that’s even better. The best way to learn a language is by being around natives speaking it.
