Learn French – Why worry, everyone speaks English These Days
Apparently, nothing could be further from the truth, the desire learn a foreign language is as strong as ever. I think there's an immediate attraction to be able to speak another language, both from the standpoint of romantic and pragmatic.
First, it opens a new world and gives the speaker a richer life experience. I think this is more evident when one speaks English is learning French because English has derived so much of the French language. Learning the French to a fluent level can give a person a great sense of accomplishment. It is easy to learn a new language to a level of fluidity and if you reach this level comes the confidence in their ability to learn new skills. Francophone can be good if you decide to go on vacation to a French speaking country. You can book hotels, shopping and negotiating with the locals. It can give you the opportunity to show their language skills and practice more.
Finally, given the increasing globalization of trade and trade, achieving a second language skills can open new opportunities in a race of people as well. So learning a language such as French can open work or business opportunities in France, Canada, Belgium and many countries in Africa and Asia.
So if you decide you want to learn French, what should you do?
There are several options, depending on how motivated and committed you are. The first option would be more expensive and probably the most effective. What is French immersion. Ideally, go to France or a French speaking country. You could do a course for a maximum 3 months and enjoy the language and culture as lived there. The second method would be to do a course. This could be as intense as you like, but doing class once a week probably will not produce rapid improvement. The other option would be to use a self-study course. This is a cheaper option and means the student has to take responsibility to enter into a study routine. A self-study course is more flexible, but the student must be self motivated.
