How long does it take to learn a new language (japanese)?
I want to learn japanese language until i am able to read, understand and speak the language. i am 24 now, so i want to estimate by when i’m able to use the language. is there anyone who have learnt this language? are you able to speak japanese now?

yeah, i know there’s no fix time for this kind of thing. just wannna know the estimate for average ppl
There really is no set time, but depending how fast you learn and how dedicated you are/what method you use to learn it, I’d say you could be able to speak to someone without a problem in 3 years, but really “fluent” in 4 – 5.
