I do not speak french, however I am thinking about moving in Montreal. Is that a good idea?
I am studying in Human Resources and I want to work in this field. If not in this field then I want to work in any administrative job… Is that possible without learning French in Montreal?
Moving to Montreal is always a good idea, but I’d be surprised if you could get any kind of HR job without French. It’s usually illegal to require any language other than French for a job in Quebec (there are of course exceptions, like a teacher in an English school or a writer for an English newspaper, but most employers wouldn’t risk having an HR person who couldn’t deal with all the non-exceptions (like janitor in an English school or press operator for an English newspaper)).
