You’re also making too many explicit statements. I’m guessing you start out writing a letter in Japanese and then switch to English, right? In this case, the context is already given, so you don’t need to expressly state ?? or ????. Japanese is a very implied language, so what you would expressly state in English may not need to be stated in Japanese. What you wrote is a literal translation, but as you begin to master the language more, you’ll be able to make better sentences. The question you should ask is not “how do you say — in Japanese?” but “what would a Japanese person say in — situation?”.
