How should I learn Japanese at this point?
Hey Ive been teaching myself Japanese for around 6 weeks. But will be having private lessons starting soon.
At this point in time I know Sentance structure, Verbs, the conjugation of verbs and can put together my own sentances..although i takes me a little time to make a sentance which is 100% correct. I have alot of free time over the next few days. I want to get my basic speech skills up. How should i do this with no one else in my house that speaks japanese. Should I just sit down with a pen and write down many different sentances which i would possibly use and then say them a few times? Im just lost at the moment and not sure how to get my conversation skills up. I have trouble forming sentances.. Any ideas on what i should do? Thanks. ????!
I think you shoul be practacing your reading and writting and working on your grammar, also if possible get some type of basic japanese audio and listen to it and try to understand what they are saying or just listen for the words you know already.
