Where can i find a site that will allow me to download free japanese speaking lessons for my mp3?
I really want to learn japanese, and since I can’t spead all day on the computer learning japanese phrases etc, I really want to download from free lessons onto my mp3 so i can listen to them when i want to
I too think Japanese Pod 101 is a good place to start. You can get free downloads via iTunes, but there is a limited selection. If you do go to there home page though, you can sign up and gain access to much more stuff.
You can also search iTunes for other stuff besides Japanese Pop 101. There’s quite a bit.
However, if you rely only on mp3s then all of your learning will be passive. Basically, you will be stuck in a listen and repeat mode which might become boring after a while.
So, you might try seeing in their are any free of relatively cheap Japanese language classes being offered near you. This will at least allow you to interact with other people.
One other idea is to try to see if you can find a language exchange partner. If you search the WWW you probably will find a few sites on this. Even if you can’t meet face to face, may you can do it via online chat or something.
