how long can learn Mandarin Chinese?
im studying Mandarin Chinese for 3 months and I can speak Mandarin Chinese in the simple sentence .. One thing I wonder when I hear the songs in Mandarin Chinese that I can only understand simple words, but I can not get the meaning of the letters … by Please help. im willing to accept comments easy way to learn this language ..
Mandarina is a difficult language, but most languages, unless an exceptional talent, no quick way to learn a language. It is wonderful progress in a short 3 months that are able to speak in simple sentences. Because only by learning to listen, understand, speak and I guess you could see Chinese dramas [if you enjoy them?] or as you said, listen to Chinese songs. You could probably try to watch the news in Mandarin, if possible. Even if you can not understand at first, then you should be able to see for a while. Basically, listen anything that might contain mandarin. The tone is hard to grasp, so make sure you practice along while people are talking about. A, plus some impossible but much faster to learn is to travel to a Mandarin-speaking country and live their few years. I recommend you talk to anyone who can speak Mandarin fluently as much as possible, because you get used to the power of words, how they should be used in a sentence, and they are used. I am Taiwanese [Born in America?] So I grew up listening to Mandarin at home, but despite all the years of listening and being able to have conversations, understanding songs are difficult. I can not say that all people can not understand the lyrics, but I think most people like me is a little difficult to understand the lyrics. As I mean is that the writing is totally different from a normal conversation and the four tones are slightly off, so please do not be discouraged if you find that you can not understand the lyrics. I know these are probably not the easiest to follow, but I hope this helps, but only slightly. Good luck!
