What are the best but cheap universities in the field of MTESOL / MTEFL?
I’m Thai, teaching English to young learners in Thailand. I’m graduated BA(Education), major in English. I’m interested in Master of Tesol / Tefl in USA, Australia, Singapore, New Zealand,etc. Where can I study & How much of the course and living? Does any university provide scholarship?
Many universities in the U.S. offer teaching assistantships to graduate students. You teach a little, and get paid, plus at many schools, your tuitions is paid for you. There are lots of MA programs in TESL. Choose an area of the country you want to live in, look up the websites of the schools, and see what they say about assistantships.
We had a Thai student in our Ph.D. program a few years ago. All her expenses were paid by the Thai government. I don’t know what program that was, but you might look into it.
